TVH Equipment centralizes all its Waregem activities in a state-of-the-art new building, strategically located along the E17. With the move of its headquarters to Mannebeekstraat, the Belgian market leader in the rental and sale of industrial machines is all set for further strategic growth. TVH Equipment shares the already iconic, fully circular building with mateco IT, a global provider of advanced technological solutions for the mateco group.
The brand new home of TVH Equipment and mateco IT is a design by DEMO Architects and was realized by Stadsbader and Willy Naessens Group. Because the round shape with its striking sunshade resembles a bird's nest structure, the building was internally 'The Nest' christened. In keeping with this theme, the meeting rooms were named after different species of birds, referring to the ideas "hatched" during meetings. The construction phase ran from August 2021 to April 2024. In the meantime, employees have moved to their new workplace. The officiicial opening for customers and suppliers will take place on Friday, June 14, and for employees and their partners on Saturday, June 15.
Until recently, the various services at TVH Equipment's headquarters in Waregem were scattered across different buildings. "Now that we have everything centralized in one location, we can improve our unique 360° service to our customers while greatly reducing our carbon footprint," said CEO Kristof Coudenys.
The ground floor of The Nest is occupied entirely by the impressive atelier and the centrally located warehouse. The large windows in the 33 sectional gates guarantee not only plenty of natural light, but also an optimal connection with the second floor, which houses the offices of the technical, HR and prevention departments. The inner ring in glass ensures maximum visual contact. The beautiful courtyard is cut out for informal meetings.
The second floor houses mateco IT, the Sales and Rental offices of TVH Equipment, a refectory with outdoor terrace, a large relaxation area and a high-tech training room. Underneath Het Nest there is another spacious parking and bicycle storage area for employees.
