One of the most modern distribution centers in our country is being built on the Vorstengrafdonk industrial estate in Oss. Commissioned by PLUS, Bouwbedrijf van de Ven from Veghel is building a distribution center of over 46,000 m², with approx. 6,100 m² of office and communal areas, 92 loading and unloading doors and a production capacity of 400,000 packages per day. The center is to supply all 270 PLUS supermarkets in the Netherlands from mid-2022 and will replace the existing centers in Hendrik-Ido-Ambacht, Middenbeemster, Haaksbergen and Ittervoort.
The entire new building will function all-electric upon completion.
Phase 1 of the project was completed on July 29.
In early August, the Witron company started the delivery and installation of the warehouse racking and mechanical installation.
On the distribution center site, an entrance building with a walkway to the offices was created so that employees and visitors do not cross truck traffic.
