Faster, better, more predictable—and with fewer manual tasks. It’s both the dream of warehouse managers and already a reality in some operations. This combination of benefits is only achievable if all processes—along with the associated data and systems—can communicate seamlessly with one another. That’s exactly what BOA Concept Group launched this year.
The emphasis on ever-greater efficiency and quality in a world where labor is scarce is creating challenges in warehouse environments. The call for more automation has been around for a while, but ensuring that systems work together seamlessly is the foundation for success. Yet many IT tools, such as WMS systems, were never designed to work together seamlessly. Pauline Jurado of BOA Concept Group: “Robots and other forms of automation are rapidly gaining ground in warehouses. The same applies to other intralogistics tools, such as conveyors. This automation is necessary due to the desire to process goods flows more quickly while also being more flexible. But at BOA Concept Group, we believe that warehouse processes should be about more than just automation.”

What really matters in modern warehouses? “It’s all about performance—about automation that reduces the need for human intervention, but always in a controlled manner.” Jurado sees that BOA Concept Group’s latest solution is catching on. The appeal of the BOA Central Suite, which was launched earlier in 2026, is, as far as Jurado is concerned, as clear as it is simple: “Traditional WCS have always played an important role, for example, in controlling machines and communicating with the WMS. That communication was usually straightforward, but also a bit blind. Now that everything has to move faster and faster and there are more peaks in warehouse processes, the need for software that keeps track of everything is more important than ever—a system that aggregates and verifies information from fragmented systems and reports problems.”
The suite developed by BOA Concept Group manages the logic of all warehouse systems. Customers using the suite include Katoen Natie and Dilisco. “Our system acts as a kind of control tower for the entire warehouse. It doesn’t replace any software, but it provides solutions to problems faster than logistics service providers are used to.” According to Jurado, the control tower approach is necessary because pressure on warehouses is increasing, and with it, the likelihood of errors. “That leads to burnouts. Our dashboards alert operators more quickly to potential or current bottlenecks. They receive push notifications when a problem arises. The pressure eases, and control over processes increases.”

BOA Concept Group is keeping pace with a changing world through its new suite. “We were originally founded because companies needed automation and conveyors. That evolved into integrated and turnkey projects. Now the focus is more on services—making our customers” lives easier. We do this by providing control over increasingly complex warehouse environments with a high degree of automation, including robots. Smart workflows are becoming increasingly important in this regard.”
Still, there is something else that is gaining in importance, Jurado says. “That is security. Certainly in the EU, there will soon be much more focus on data ownership and security, including among logistics service providers. As a company, you need to ensure the autonomy of your logistics operations so that, even in the event of a geopolitical crisis, you can continue to serve your customers safely. That is one of the key areas we’re focusing on. Customers recognize and appreciate that.”
