Hitachi Construction Machinery Europe (HCME) is busy updating its extensive fleet of machines. Such as the two Stage V wheel loaders that were recently presented: the ZW180-7 and the ZW310-7. They are not only clean, but also powerful and reliable machines. Hitachi therefore offers them as standard with Powertrain Warranty.
As an entrepreneur, you want all machines to deliver optimal results and minimize visits to the repair shop. Choosing a machine is then about quality on the one hand and after-sales service on the other. By performing regular maintenance, the operational reliability of a machine remains high and it also retains its value. To emphasize and underpin Hitachi's quality image, machine buyers are offered a Powertrain Warranty as standard. The buyer is thus assured of optimum service for as much as 5 years or up to 9,000 hours of operation. For those who want to go a step further, Hitachi Construction Machinery even offers three comprehensive service contracts under its own Premium Support label.
Only one can be the safest on the market, and according to Hitachi, it is the new Series-7 wheel loaders. For example, the cab offers optimum all-round visibility, thanks in part to the narrow engine hood. In addition, the Aerial Angle camera system gives the operator an overview of the immediate work area from above (viewing angle = 270 degrees). Finally, the obstacle detection system signals immediately if something or someone is too close to the rear of the machine.
It may be the benjamin within Hitachi's new Series 7 wheel loaders with Stage V engines, but the ZW180-7 offers even better performance and more tractive power than its predecessor thanks to some substantial improvements to the engine's torque. The result is easier bucket filling, shorter cycle times and higher productivity. All with less fuel consumption.
On Series-7 Stage V wheel loaders, the new Approach Speed Control feature makes the loading cycle faster and more efficient. This saves an additional 16 percent in fuel. Subsequently, the extra power function automatically increases the engine speed on slopes so that the travel speed remains constant and the cycle time is as short as possible.
The ZW310-7 is the big brother of the ZW180-7. It is designed, according to Hitachi, to "give operators complete control over their working environment even under the toughest working conditions and offers unparalleled comfort in the cab in addition to the industry's most advanced safety features." For example, noise and vibration levels are among the lowest on the market and the wheel loader is extremely user-friendly thanks to features such as the improved seat with mounted electric control levers, a new monitor control and a convenient side switch panel. The new ECO gauge allows the operator to monitor fuel consumption in real time and subsequently improve performance through various adjustable functions.
Manager of product management Bill Drougkas said, "The new ZW310-7 has been specifically designed to offer European customers powerful performance, low total cost of ownership and exceptio-nal efficiency. Built to the strictest quality standards, the wheel loader gives a significant boost to productivity in busy quarries and large recycling facilities, with positive impact on revenue."
