BLOM trainings joins BMWT-Train

Blom Opleidingen B.V. has joined BMWT-Train as an accredited trainer. This step further expands the network of trainers and increases the capacity to train professionals according to one common quality framework for safe and competent operation training for work equipment. The cooperation was ratified during a signing ceremony by Jan Hommes, director of BMWT, and Roy Groothuis, director of BLOM trainings. BMWT-Train is the quality mark for operator training for work equipment and focuses on increasing safety and competence in the sector. The initiative has a clear ambition: to contribute to the reduction of accidents, with the ultimate goal of zero fatal accidents.

There is a clear division of roles within BMWT-Train. BMWT sets the standards, provides independent examination and certification, and monitors quality. Member trainers are responsible for carrying out the training courses and contribute their own didactics and practical experience. Certification takes place on the basis of theoretical and practical testing and is registered centrally.

The new format of BMWT-Train is being introduced in phases. In the first phase, the focus is on forklift operation training; other operation training will follow. With the entry of BLOM trainings, the network will be further strengthened. This contributes to a greater availability of training courses and a wider application of uniform quality standards in practice.
