Tutorial Opleidingen & Advies has joined BMWT-Train as an accredited training provider. This step further expands the network of training providers and increases the capacity to train professionals according to a single, shared quality framework for safe and competent operator training for work equipment.
The partnership was formalized during a signing ceremony by Jan Hommes, director of BMWT, and Robert van Overbeek, on behalf of Tutorial Opleidingen & Advies.
BMWT-Train is the quality certification for operator training programs for construction equipment and focuses on improving safety and professional competence in the sector. The initiative has a clear ambition: to help reduce accidents, with the ultimate goal of zero fatalities. BMWT-Train has a clear division of roles. BMWT sets the standards, conducts independent examinations and certification, and monitors quality. Affiliated training providers are responsible for delivering the training courses, contributing their own expertise and practical experience. Certification is based on theoretical and practical assessments and is centrally registered.
The new BMWT-Train program will be implemented in phases. In the first phase, the focus will be on forklift operator training; other operator training courses will follow.
Tutorial Opleidingen & Advies specializes in providing in-company training. The training offerings include courses for forklifts, reach trucks, hoisting, aerial work platforms, EPT, side loaders, and stackers. By conducting training on-site at clients’ locations, we can optimally tailor the training to the specific work environment, risks, and training needs of organizations. The addition of Tutorial Opleidingen & Advies further strengthens the network. This contributes to greater availability of training courses and broader application of uniform quality standards in practice.

By collaborating within a single national quality framework, we contribute to a safer and more professional sector.”
