The planned integration of the E-CoreX and PANION platforms links operational fleet management and route planning with intelligent charging and energy management

Veenendaal/Potsdam, October 27, 2026 – Prometheus Informatics and k2.mobility are combining their expertise to technically integrate their software platforms, E-CoreX and PANION, and jointly market them.

E-CoreX is a modular cloud platform for operational fleet management that consolidates data from various systems and provides insight into day-to-day operations. PANION connects transport management, vehicle telemetry, charging infrastructure, and the power grid in real time. The planned integration creates a unified solution that connects operational fleet management and route planning with intelligent charging and energy management. The solution is specifically designed for organizations in the transportation and logistics sectors and also supports other sectors with electric commercial vehicles.

New Requirements Due to Electrification

When deploying electric trucks and commercial vehicles, traditional route and deployment planning is no longer sufficient. Battery status, available charging stations, charging capacity, and energy costs must also be factored into daily operations and coordinated accordingly. These challenges are particularly relevant for transportation companies with complex operational processes and electric fleets. Waste collection companies are also facing these challenges as they increasingly electrify their fleets. Integrated charging management is particularly important at locations where limited grid capacity and parking options intersect with demanding operational processes. By combining E-CoreX and PANION, these processes can be managed in an integrated environment in the future without creating additional complexity for planners and drivers.

Reduced implementation work for customers

For customers, the partnership also reduces the amount of implementation work required. With E-CoreX, Prometheus Informatics offers a modular cloud platform for, among other things, on-board computers, telematics, trip logging, tachograph data retrieval, driving style analysis, and Track & Trace. Through integration with PANION, intelligent functions for charging and energy management are added. Together, Prometheus Informatics and k2.mobility already cover a large portion of the required systems and interfaces, thereby limiting the necessary integration effort. Customers can build on their existing systems and integrate the additional requirements of electric fleets without unnecessary extra complexity.
