Laying the Foundation for Further Growth with a New Narrow-Aisle Warehouse

With the opening of a new warehouse in Oss, Vos Logistics took a significant step toward expanding its logistics capacity by the end of 2025. In doing so, the logistics service provider expanded its existing campus and created additional space for both existing and new customers. For the complete setup of the new narrow-aisle warehouse, Vos Logistics chose Motrac as its partner for both the racking systems and the material handling equipment.

The partnership between Vos Logistics and Motrac dates back many years. Since 2021, Motrac has been the exclusive supplier of material handling equipment for Vos Logistics’ locations in the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany. For the new warehouse, Motrac supplied, among other things, five Linde VNA combi trucks, five stackers, and all the warehouse racking. By sourcing both trucks and racking from a single supplier, Vos Logistics benefited from short lines of communication, efficient project management, and a comprehensive approach.

Consulting from Design to Implementation

Motrac worked closely with Vos Logistics right from the design phase. During this process, various scenarios were explored to make the most efficient use of the available space. The result is a narrow-aisle warehouse that combines high storage density with safety, ergonomics, and productivity. Motrac supported the entire process, from warehouse design and racking configuration to the implementation of the trucks and the integration with the warehouse management system.

Smart technology increases efficiency

The semi-automatic Linde VNA trucks play a key role in the new warehouse. Thanks to a navigation system, the trucks independently determine their position in the aisle and automatically drive to the correct storage or retrieval location. This ensures accurate, safe, and efficient pallet handling and reduces the operation’s reliance on individual drivers.

Ready for the next phase of growth

The initial results have been so positive that Vos Logistics has now decided to further expand its capacity with two additional VNA trucks. According to site manager Jan-Pieter Cornelissen, the foundation is solid: the concept works, the employees are enthusiastic, and the new warehouse provides a solid foundation for future growth.
