Assists with demolition and transportation of construction materials

HG Super Skub E700 proves to be a handy helper

"Removing a load-bearing wall in a home or stripping an office building that is then converted into a home; demolition is a profession in its own right and is done by specialized companies," said Arthur Verwoerd, director and owner of the Reeuwijk-based company of the same name. "In order to facilitate this work and make demolition workers physically
to support their operations, we have the electric HG Super Skub."

HG Super Skub E700 is compact, strong and maneuverable.

Demolition is an extensive job and, according to Verwoerd, has more to it than an end customer thinks beforehand. "Many demolition companies work with a demolition robot or have an electric crane that they use to demolish indoors and outdoors. Then they scoop, often by hand, the debris into a wheelbarrow and wheel it outside. We also see the use of special bins equipped with solid wheels in practice, but then the next challenge remains: emptying it efficiently outside into a dumpster. The HG Super Skub electric wheelbarrow makes all this work faster and more efficient. It is 85 centimeters wide, has a bin capacity of 400 liters and can load up to 700 kilograms."

The HG Super Skub supports the specialist in his demolition and transportation of debris and building materials. "Most doorways of buildings and gates around properties are at least 90 centimeters wide, so that problem is tackled. With two levers you go forward and backward, and if the machine gets stuck while driving backward, it corrects itself by driving forward independently. A mechanism derived from the gasoline version and tried and tested for 25 years. The wheelbarrow is Danish-made and the electric version is ideal for construction, demolition
and green world."

Excellent successor

Verwoerd has been selling Zallys brand battery-powered wheelbarrows since 2004. "It's an excellent wheelbarrow that runs on a semi traction battery, only the bucket capacity is limited to 180 liters and high tipping is not possible. The HG Super Skub is therefore an excellent successor. It is ideal for contractors active in the demolition business, as well as landscapers and the small earth, road and water construction companies. Our electric wheelbarrows have a very low failure rate, limited maintenance costs and the Lithium-ion battery lasts seven, eight years without any problems. An additional purchase benefit for 2022 is the MIA scheme, a tax benefit for sustainable entrepreneurs who invest in environmentally friendly technologies."
