Following the introduction of the Syncore brand earlier this week, the company announces that Machiel van den Hazelkamp will succeed Gert Bossink as CEO as of June 1, 2026. This leadership change marks the next step in Syncore's development as a European partner for integrated intralogistics solutions.
In recent years, Gert Bossink has led the integration of AM, Lalesse and Reesink Logistic Solutions into one cohesive organization. During this period, the offering has been further strengthened, building on years of experience with AutoStore, as well as warehouse cranes, conveyor and retrofit solutions.
Since 2022, technology portfolio has been expanded to include solutions from Movu and Geek+, supported by the internally developed software platform. This integration formed the basis for Syncore, in which engineering, software, project realization and service come together in one integrated proposition.
“We have built a strong and integrated organization with a clear position in the market,” said Gert Bossink. “With the introduction of Syncore, the focus shifts to further scaling and strengthening our position in Europe. I am convinced that Machiel is the right person to lead this next phase.”
Machiel van den Hazelkamp, currently CCO/COO of Syncore, has been closely involved in the commercial and operational development of the company. He played an important role in aligning sales, engineering and execution, and in shaping a customer-focused, end-to-end approach.
“With Syncore, we are taking an important step in the way we support our customers,” says Machiel van den Hazelkamp. “Our focus is on further scaling this approach and achieving predictable performance in projects, from design through long-term service.”
The leadership change highlights the company's ambition to further strengthen its position as an integrated intralogistics partner, combining technology, software and service to support increasingly complex warehouse environments.
Gert Bossink will remain involved during the transition period to ensure continuity.
