Global demand for fully automatic quick coupler systems continues to grow in both the demolition and infra sectors. Today Steelwrist introduces the SQ90, so far the largest model in the SQ Auto Connection quick coupler range. The SQ90 is designed for excavators up to 70 tons.
Following the highly successful launch of the SQ Auto Connection quick change in 2017, the range today includes SQ60, SQ65, SQ70, SQ70/55 and SQ80. It is now time to introduce the largest SQ model in the range to date - the SQ90. Steelwrist SQ quick change attachments are valued by customers for their increased safety and ability to change hydraulically powered attachments in seconds without leaving the cab. The addition of the SQ90 quick coupler meets the demands of the demolition industry, where frequent and fast changeover of attachments is common.
"The Steelwrist SQ Auto Connection quick couplers have been appreciated by customers from day one. In the demolition industry with its frequent change of attachments, it's all about using the right tool for the right job at the right time. With SQ, operator and machine can work continuously at all times and work safety increases when one can easily change and use the best tool for the job." Says Stefan Stockhaus, CEO of Steelwrist AB.
The SQ90 and all other Steelwrist SQ products follow the worldwide Open-S industry standard for fully automatic quick couplers for excavators. The standard makes it easier for operators and owners to choose quick couplers, tiltrotators and attachments from different manufacturers and be confident that they work together.
Front Pin Lock from Steelwrist is a front axle mechanical locking device that significantly reduces the risk of unintentional dropping of attachments. With Steelwrist's introduction into the demolition segment, its patented Front Pin Lock technology has been upgraded to a second generation to support heavy-duty demolition tools.
All SQ couplers come with QPlus technology that enables higher hydraulic flow with less pressure drop compared to many other systems on the market.
