On March 10-14, this year's largest machinery show, Conexpo 2020 will take place in Las Vegas. This show is the event of the year for many, including Engcon. At the Conexpo 2020, engon is unpacking. The booth will feature three different excavators for a demonstration of Engcon products. The turntable attachment, which is still exotic for the American market, will receive extra attention.
Engcon supplies turntables, attachments and accessories for excavators all over the world. The Scandinavian market has an extensive product range, which has spread to large parts of Europe in recent years. On the other side of the Atlantic, however, the turntable is still an unknown phenomenon. Two years ago, Engcon took the step of establishing a sales office in America, in North Haven (Connecticut). For now, Engcon's focus is on nine of the easternmost and northernmost states.
In North America, they are so-called "early adopters" or trendsetters who use the swivel tilt piece and other Engcon products. Therefore, the Conexpo is a perfect opportunity to present the rotary attachment to the wider public. There we can show excavators how they can work more effectively, safely and flexibly with their excavator using modern Engcon attachments.
"It's important to show what you can do with our products. Many are still not convinced that the swivel tilt attachment is as effective as it is said to be. That's why we use an excavator with an Engcon swivel tilt attachment, and our hydraulic quick coupler combined with a collection of our hydraulic attachments to show all the possibilities. New this year is that we have two machines with us in which visitors can try out our products. Our experience is that everyone who has tested our products walks out with a broad smile on their face," says Anders Smith, regional director at Engcon.
There are three major machine fairs that alternate every three years: Intermat in France, Bauma in Germany and Conexpo in America. Conexpo has more than 2,000 exhibitors and 150 lectures spread over five days. The 2020 trade show will be held in Las Vegas from March 10-14. This is not the first time Engcon has been represented at Conexpo.
"Because of our previous participation, we know what works and what doesn't work. At the same time, we want to increase our presence at the show. We are also proud to work with some of the industry's most important influencers: pioneers who invested in a rotary tilt with EC-Oil at an early stage. They find that the new technology works so well that they pass on their experiences of their own accord. During the Conexpo, we are offering interested parties the opportunity to talk to them at our booth. We want the turntable to become as commonplace in North America as it is in Scandinavia. This is where we dare to invest," says Anders Smith.
At Engcon's booth (F2764) at Conexpo, visitors can talk to Team Engcon and try out an excavator with a rotary attachment for themselves. Experienced excavator operators will also be at work, demonstrating how to work with state-of-the-art equipment in the best possible way. All interested parties can register for a VIP ticket for a test drive on Engcon's website: https://engcon.com/en_us/campaigns/conexpo2020/test-drive.html
