Not every warehouse environment requires maximum performance or multi-shift operation. Above all, many companies are looking for a compact, reliable and user-friendly reach truck that fits perfectly into everyday standard applications. With the new Ri14-Ri18 series, Linde Material Handling responds to this need. The new reach trucks, distributed by Motrac in the Benelux, combine maneuverability, comfort and safety with an accessible investment.
The range was officially presented at the LogiMAT 2026 trade fair in Stuttgart and targets applications with low to medium intensity of use. Thanks to their versatility, the trucks can be used in a variety of sectors, including distribution, retail, food, automotive and chemical.

The new Ri14-Ri18 reach trucks have been designed with compactness in mind. Thanks to the integrated lithium-ion battery, the trucks feature a slim design, making them particularly suitable for warehouses with limited maneuvering space.
With a length of 1,215 mm and a turning radius of 2,709 mm, the trucks remain highly maneuverable in narrow aisles. At the same time, they offer lift heights from 5,720 mm to 8,570 mm and lift capacities from 1.4 to 1.8 tons. The trucks achieve travel speeds of up to 13 km/h and can be optionally equipped with PowerDrive and PowerLift functions, which further enhance driving and lifting performance.
With the Ri series, Linde further expands its reach truck offering. Whereas the existing R-Series remains primarily focused on intensive applications, heavy-duty use and multi-shift systems, the Ri14-Ri18 models provide a more accessible alternative for standard warehouse work.
This translates not only into a more compact design, but also into a sharper positioning in terms of investment and operating costs. Companies thus have the opportunity to choose a reach truck that better suits their operational needs.

Despite their positioning for standard applications, the Ri14-Ri18 trucks do not compromise on operator comfort. Also in this series, Linde remains strongly committed to ergonomics.
The cab decoupled from the chassis reduces shocks and vibrations during driving, while the suspended driver's seat helps reduce fatigue during longer shifts. Steering wheel, pedals and seat position can also be individually adjusted to the operator.
In addition, the trucks feature a wide and low step with non-slip surface, making frequent entry and exit during daily warehouse operations more comfortable.
Safety also remains an important pillar within the new range. Standard hydraulic load brakes ensure short braking distances and maximum control, regardless of load weight or mast position.
Furthermore, the trucks feature as standard Linde Curve Assist, which automatically adjusts the speed in curves according to the steering angle. Optionally, the reach trucks can be enhanced with additional safety solutions, such as an armored glass roof, shoulder protection and assistance systems such as the Linde Safety Guard.

With the Ri14-Ri18 series, Linde introduces a new generation of reach trucks that responds to the growing demand for compact and cost-efficient warehouse solutions. For companies looking for a quality reach truck for standard applications, without overcapacity or overinvestment, this series represents an interesting alternative within the Linde range.
