With certified tilt gates, you're investing in proven safety

Haagh Protection, global supplier of Variogate (safety) tilt gates continues to innovate. Recently, the Rijen-based company launched a new variant for pallets 2.80 meters high. “During LogiMAT in Stuttgart (March 24-26), we will show why it is important to have a reliable partner in the field of safe working. By investing in proven safety, you are investing in the future,” said Kay Mullenders, managing director of Haagh Protection.
LogiMAT in Stuttgart is the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management. “This trade fair gives us the opportunity to meet our international customers. After all, we sell our Variogates worldwide. We want to show customers and potential customers why high-quality safety devices on a floor, storey or platform are essential to prevent goods or people from falling down through the opening. One of the ways we do this is with our bestseller: Variogate 18. This compact tilt gate for safe working at height with a maximum pallet height of 1,800mm and an installation height of only 2,089mm fits perfectly into any logistics, industrial and warehouse environment. Visitors can experience for themselves the robustness of the material as well as its easy operation. The robust steel construction guarantees years of intensive use and is TÜV-certified for maximum safety.”
The guillotine safety fence will also be on display during the show. “This type is not yet known to a wide audience but offers many advantages in locations where limited space is available behind the loading area. The guillotine principle requires no turning radius, which makes it perfect for entresols and loading areas with limited depth.”

Another eye-catcher is the pallet detection system. “We find that more and more companies are automating their warehouses and the number of large projects is increasing. The need for operational efficiency is therefore essential. Our pallet detection systems are equipped with photocell sensors to monitor the area inside the Variogate. They can detect obstacles such as a pallet or other load. The system immediately indicates with an optical signal whether a tilt gate is free to operate or not. Operators are fully aware of the status of the tilt gate thanks to real-time feedback leading to increased overall safety and higher efficiency.”

Haagh Protection is constantly expanding its product range according to customer needs. “This month we developed a new variant suitable for 2.80-meter-high pallets. After all, we notice that customers bring increasingly complex requests to us. This is why we are constantly investing in research and development so that we can serve our customers even better. We pay great attention to efficiency, space saving and ease of use without sacrificing quality or safety.”

Safety is a top priority. “We therefore also conduct periodic inspections to identify potential hazards and address them preventively. After all, a thorough visual inspection can make all the difference in ensuring effectiveness and reliability. In practice, we regularly encounter tilt gates that were installed 10 or 15 years ago and are still in excellent condition thanks to proper use and regular inspection. In short, investing in proven safety is investing in the future.”
