Customized conveyor projects

Europe's largest logistics fair is just around the corner. At LogiMAT fair in Stuttgart, Easy Systems will show why precisely customization in the field of conveyor projects leads to more flexibility in supply chains. Bob Koorevaar: “Customers don't want a standard solution, but something with which they can integrate processes and be more flexible.”

Thinking in standard solutions is not what sets manufacturing and logistics companies apart. Sales Engineer Koorevaar: “As Easy Systems, we are clearly on the side of suppliers who make business processes more flexible. During LogiMAT we will show how we always strive for the best and most efficient solution for a customer.”

From open sights to best combination

Easy Systems enters into discussions with customers with an open mind and tries to combine as many available technologies as possible to achieve the most efficient solution for business processes. Koorevaar: “In practice, this often comes down to the integration of packaging and breakout machines, palletizers, labelers, box closers, elevators, roller conveyors, switching mats, chain systems and conveyors. In that last aspect we are really specialists, partly because we develop conveyor systems ourselves. But we have also implemented the other solutions dozens of times. We know which systems fit a customer's processes, but will always choose the best combination of tools.”

European customers

At LogiMAT, the focus will be on the conveyor and total solutions Easy Systems can offer, of course equipped with the much-needed flexibility. “With this we primarily want to show Benelux customers what we are capable of. In addition, we also like to appeal to companies in other countries. We are quite capable of the latter, in part because Easy Systems has the support of BOA Concept. This is our parent company and a group of companies that focuses on intralogistics and interconnected solutions and operates out of Saint-Etienne, France.”

It will be evident at LogiMAT that Easy Systems is focused on serving shippers and logistics service providers. These companies are increasingly knocking on the supplier's door. “As a supplier, we help these entrepreneurs with our own solutions. In addition, we deploy systems from partners, such as from Kardex and ABB Robotics.”

Seamless integration of systems and software

When serving shippers and logistics service providers, seamless integration plays a major role. This also applies to linking the systems with WMS software, for example, something that is essential for smooth processes. “Easy Systems has its own software for integration with the aforementioned systems. In addition, we take care of everything from engineering, project management and maintenance to providing advice. With these tools, technology and knowledge, we are a true one-stop shop for companies.”

‘Solutions for every stage’

LogiMAT is the time for Easy Systems to show what it is capable of. Six people will be present at its own booth to show customers and potential customers how its smart and reliable solutions can make every stage of the production, handling and shipping process more efficient. “To make that concrete, we are also putting in a configurator, which will allow companies to design a conveyor system to suit their needs.”
