New layout of warehouse

For the redesign of its warehouse, the West Flanders paint and decoration chain Deco Gysels called on the storage solutions of PlastibacHis wide range of plastic bins and load carriers came in handy to streamline storage in Gysels' central warehouse. Not a superfluous luxury when there are nine branches to be supplied.

In recent years, Deco Gysels has grown into an established name in West Flanders with its range of paints, decorative materials and curtains. Naturally, the company's logistics operations had to be able to keep up with the growth. A new layout of the group's central warehouse was therefore essential. From there, products are shipped quickly to the various branches. 

Right up Plastibac's alley. The company from Kuurne, part of Linumgroup, is specialized in plastic bins, pallets and related packaging, intended for professional use in storage, intralogistics or production environments within industry or retail. 

Ease of use and ergonomics

At Deco Gysels they opted for storage and picking bins from the range of Plastibac, specifically for the storage of small material such as spare parts, paint brushes, breakers, .... Ease of use and ergonomics were paramount when choosing the required material. For example, the bins are equipped with label holders that allow warehouse workers to easily scan bar codes to record picking.

Deco Gysels opted for an orderly structure using these durable trays made from recycled materials. They are all executed in black plastic for a uniform overview. Moreover, the dark color gives a nice contrast to the contents. The often small items in the trays are thus more visible for the employees and easier to find. 

The possibilities of the Plastibac range are much more extensive than this well-organized case study. Plastibac has a wide range of warehouse and picking bins to provide workplaces with order and overview. The variety of colors allows the customer to match their choice to corporate style or to distinguish different types of stored goods.
