Are you looking for a quality and affordable solution to protect your employees while moving pallets on a floor? Then a tilt gate or passageway is the ideal solution. After all, by installing these constructions, you prevent the danger of falling of materials and personnel. Patrick Diepstraten, manager of Dipaq, explains the advantages.
"Tilt gates or pass-through devices ensure the safe flow of pallets to mezzanines," Patrick continues. "After all, unlike chains or loose fences, for example, these structures cannot be accidentally left open. They are therefore the safest way to secure up and down points. A flexible tipping point acts as a preventive separation between the first floor and intermediate floor."
Another advantage of a tilt gate is that loose materials can no longer fall down. "Whatever position the tilt gate is in, the danger of falling is eliminated," Patrick points out. "With Dipaq, we offer various types, ranging from classic tilt gates over barrier gates and slide/retract gates to so-called guillotine gates. They are made of galvanized steel, coated as standard in RAL 1021. Each application exists in standard and custom designs. Naturally, all our products comply with the legal standards on working at height, while they are also TÜV-certified and CE-marked. Thanks to their ergonomic design and light operation, they are very user-friendly and quick to assemble."
This year Dipaq is blowing out ten candles, and Patrick is quite proud of that. "From our office in Papendrecht, the Netherlands, we have been assisting Belgian and Dutch customers in the design, production and assembly of rollover fences, passageways and collision protection for a decade," he says. "Not only do we work with high-quality products, we always engage professional VCA-certified assembly teams. Our mission is to create and equip safe industrial and logistics workplaces in accordance with current requirements." ■
