Who provides our national highways with 100km/h signs?

In the second half of March, many 130km/h signs were replaced by 100km/h signs. As part of the nitrogen measure, this will give the construction and infrastructure sector more room to realize projects.

One of the suppliers of the 100km/h signs is HKV Ochten. They provide much of the total 100km/h signs and accessories in the Netherlands and serve several customers managing national highways.

Recognizing signals and trends

Jan Henk van Beem purchasing manager at HKV Ochten explains that with the upcoming speed reduction, he foresaw an increasing demand for 100 km/h signs. ''As a total supplier, we recognize signals and trends in the market and respond accordingly. Because we acted quickly and adequately, we were able to provide our customers with 100 km/h signs well in advance and they had plenty of time to prepare and install the signs. Besides supplying the signs, we also contributed to the process, for example by putting location stickers on the signs.'' says Jan Henk.

HKV Ochten is the total supplier for the infra, transport and logistics and construction sectors and, in addition to traffic signs and road beaconing, also supplies work clothing, tools and has its own advertising & sign department.
