BITO stands for "Bittmann Oberstein," because this is where our company was founded in 1845 by the Bittmann family. Meanwhile, we employ more than 1,000 people. In 1991 the constantly growing company moved to neighboring Meisenheim due to lack of space, and in 2000 an additional production site was established in nearby Lauterecken.
The company area currently comprises more than 140,000 m². We are specialists in warehouse equipment and order picking systems and we distinguish ourselves through the highest quality standards and comprehensive focus on the needs of our customers and their industries.
