Genk South nears full occupancy: one more logistics unit available

The WDP Genk Zuid logistics development, a joint venture between WDP and Gosselin, is entering its final phase. Since January 1, 2026, both Unit 1 and Unit 3 have been officially occupied by Gosselin. This means that the 30,000 m² project is almost completely completed. Only the last unit of 13,000 m² is still available. The entire site will be completed by the end of Q2 2026.

Genk South is positioning itself as a future-proof logistics hub in the heart of Europe. The BREEAM-certified, gas-free development is designed with a focus on operational efficiency and scalability, with 14 loading docks, a single-level gateway, mezzanine and offices at the front. The building features a full solar panel roof and ample parking with charging stations for trucks and electric cars.

The site is located next to the Albert Canal with direct access to the E313 and E314, at the crossroads of Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany. Unique is the inland water connection via Gosselin's container terminal on the site, which is committed to more sustainable and cost-efficient transport.

With one unit still available Genk South a scarce opportunity within the European logistics real estate market.
