Death of Willy Naessens

The Naessens family and the management of the Willy Naessens Group inform you that Willy Naessens passed away in an intimate circle and surrounded by his family on Monday 31/03/2025.

Willy Naessens fell in late January, breaking his hip. During the recovery process, however, a number of complications occurred that weakened him greatly, ultimately leading to his death.

Willy Naessens was born on 14/02/1939 as the son of an Elsegem miller. Very young, he took his first steps in entrepreneurship as a chicken breeder and barn builder, after which he devoted his life to expanding his company into a renowned international player in the construction and food sector.

His dedication and determination, as well as his folksy character, made him an iconic figure who left his mark on the entrepreneurial landscape in Belgium.

His legacy and the values he left behind will be carried on by his children and staff with the same passion and dedication.
