Preventing people from entering a hazardous area, machine or production environment. That's the mission of Profensa, a company that offers numerous safety solutions for the workplace. "With our range of machine fencing, logistics guards and collision protection, we do our part to ensure safe companies," said co-manager Yves Malfroot.
The importance of safety equipment and fencing in work environments can hardly be understated. Malfroot explains: "By investing in our safety solutions, as a business owner or manager you not only promote a safe working environment for your employees and visitors, but also create an excellent basis for increased efficiency and sustainability in your company. Our machine guards protect you from unauthorized access to potentially dangerous machines and installations, while our logistics guards reduce risks when storing goods. In turn, our collision protection range ensures that you prevent damage to infrastructure and vehicles and provide safe passage for your employees."
"When it comes to safety solutions, we want to assist our customers as much as possible with professional products and accompanying advice," Malfroot indicates. "With the necessary experience and expertise in our pocket - including as a Certified Machinery Safety Expert - we inform each customer from A to Z. Via clear 3D designs, you get a clear view of how a safe working environment is created. And of course, we make sure that every application is assembled professionally, in compliance with the applicable safety procedures as well as with certificates of the products supplied."
The team at Profensa enjoys taking on the challenge of designing and installing machine safety fencing, both with standard and custom solutions. "With every project, we attach the utmost importance to the legal ground rules. With the patented 'META bracket' we meet the requirements of the Machinery Directive 42/2006," Malfroot confirms. "The safety directive EN15512 is also central to the supply of industrial polymer crash barriers. Moreover, they comply with Fire Class V0 according to UL-94. They are thus self-extinguishing and do not spread fire."
Profensa continues to expand its offerings, by the way. Malfroot: "We started our range with an extensive range of machine fencing, offering different options of several mesh openings, tube frames and colors. Then we made the conscious decision to offer flexible crash protection. We are a distributor of MPM Flexible Protections, giving our customers a wide choice of rack protection, traffic barriers, safety gates, column and cable protection and so much more. So there is something for everyone! Thus, we already realized many great safety projects at various customers."
