Storage capacity of 30,000 m2
Offering a personal approach and a complete service. That is the mission of Deny Logistics in Menen. From customs services over air and sea freight to forwarding and warehousing. Within the warehousing division, Deny Logistics is already the reference for the storage of chemicals.
With revenue growth of 30% in recent years, Deny Logistics is increasingly firmly establishing itself in the market. "Our focus on four core pillars enables us to provide significant added value for companies in various sectors," says CEO Bertrand Deny, who today manages a team of some 45 employees. In the same breath, he also touches on his company's geographical assets: "Located close to major European traffic axes and logistics hubs such as the ports of Zeebrugge and Antwerp, and the airports of Ostend, Zaventem and Lille-Lesquin, we are the gateway to France and the rest of Europe. A few months ago we received the quality label Gateway2Britain. It rewards our efforts in supporting companies in their imports and exports with the United Kingdom. That has only become more complex with the Brexit."
Deny Logistics is a family business where today the fourth generation is at the helm. What once began as a modest provider of customs services grew into a leading logistics service provider. "Our goal is to be the single point of contact for all of our customers' logistics questions. We tailor our approach and processes precisely to their needs and wishes."
Customs services in their full breadth remain an important cornerstone of Deny Logistics' portfolio of activities. Initially operational, by stocking goods under customs supervision. "We have an extensive license to store and commission goods under various customs regimes. We also want to assist our customers on a consultancy level. Just think of obtaining the right permits and other necessary documents involved in import and export. Our good relations with the customs administration guarantee a quick follow-up," Bertrand explains.
Deny Logistics has a storage capacity of some 30,000 m2 (free or under customs control). 80% of it is licensed for the storage of chemicals. "We continuously invest in digitalization and offer our customers state-of-the-art storage and handling systems. When we receive packaged chemicals, we can relabel and recondition them, if necessary, to then bring them back into distribution within Belgium, Europe or even the other end of the world. Our next investment will be a new filling line where we can condition even better according to the customer's needs."
Bertrand concludes, "At Deny Logistics, we take all the worries out of your hands when it comes to international freight, whether it's a small shipment or a full truck. In addition, we orchestrate the entire flow for our customers in air and sea freight: from the follow-up of shipped containers to the door-to-door handling of the transport. Our extensive network of domestic and foreign partners ensures that goods arrive at their destination safely and on time." For sea freight, this can be done for both LCL (less than container load) and FCL (full container load) shipments."
"Because carefree is a key word for us, we also include all administrative operations. Customers tell us that they greatly appreciate the fact that we deal with their questions very flexibly, and that no question is too difficult or too difficult for us. Our personal approach and conscientiousness also score with them."
