S&P C-Laminate LM combined with S&P Resin 220HP epoxy adhesive is the solution for suspected wide slab floors. The system is fully proven and can be installed with very little inconvenience.

From openings, voids and spans to the reduction of existing reinforcement (corrosion) in structures. You will also find our carbon reinforcement in repair measures of cantilever balconies, galleries and reinforcement of masonry in earthquake areas.
The S&P Wide Plate Floor Coupling Reinforcement System has been investigated and tested on similar wide plate floor elements at the TU-Eindhoven. In cooperation with renowned parties, we developed a repair system, inclu- sive calculation model. In addition to the proven structural safety, the reinforcement measure has a low impact on the environment and nuisance is kept to a minimum.
The test pieces are identically shaped and dimensioned as the plates at the in- cident at the parking garage in Eindhoven.
The cause of the slab collapse in the parking garage in Eindhoven was ascertained prior to the investigation.

- At the same time, it was examined whether the loads that would eventually be met, theoretical and computer simulations performed in DIANA, would match the actual failure loads."
Several tests were conducted with different amounts of carbon lamellae. In addition, plates were pre-loaded where an initial detachment between shell and compression layer was applied to simulate delamination already present. The conclusion of all these studies is that the reinforcement measure is excellent performance and the final failure loads during these tests are in full agreement with the computer models.
Fireproofing the carbon adhesive reinforcement is not necessary in most cases. When fire retardancy on the measure is still necessary, S&P has a standard solution available for 30, 60, 90 and 120 min fire resistance duration.
