Transport & Logistics Antwerp breekt records op 15e jubileumeditie

Transport & Logistics Antwerp breaks records at 15th anniversary edition

The 15e edition of Transport & Logistics was a resounding success. Fair organizer Easyfairs counted a record turnout of 320 exhibitors and partners, and 12,650 professional visitors. The largest transport and logistics fair in the Benelux is therefore looking forward with confidence to the next editions in Ghent in 2026 and Antwerp in 2027, for which 70% of the stands have already been reserved. "Thanks in part to the addition of breakbulk exhibition AntwerpXL, the Antwerp fair has grown into an unmissable event for the sector. This is the result of years of effort and we are incredibly grateful to the many exhibitors, partners, speakers and visitors who gave their best for three days," echoes Nadine Francus, Group Event Director of Easyfairs.

Beforehand, it was announced as an anniversary edition. Afterwards, it turned out to be a record edition as well. That success comes from a well-thought-out approach, explains Nadine Francus, Group Event Director of exhibition organizer Easyfairs. "We bring a mix of the right companies, inspiring speakers and activities that promote networking. In terms of companies, with multinationals, family-owned companies and innovative newcomers, there is enormous diversity. The speakers come from business, politics and also the academic sector and with topics such as cybersecurity, AI or market trends in industrial logistics, bring relevant topics to a diverse audience. Finally, there are the side-events organized at the fair, such as the awards for the Transport & Logistics Gazelles from Transport Media and Trends Business Information, the 'Maritime Pint' - opened by Flemish Minister Annick De Ridder and Port Alderman Johan Klaps - in collaboration with Antwerp Traffic Club and the job fair for logistics companies from TL Hub and VDAB. That helps explain why we continue to grow as the largest transport and logistics fair in the Benelux," says Nadine Francus. Our country's central location in Europe also translates into the international appeal of the fair, with exhibitors from 10 different countries such as the Netherlands, Germany, Finland and even Saudi Arabia or African ports.

Extra focus on NGOs and youth

In several panel discussions, business leaders let slip that the search for staff is one of the biggest challenges facing the industry. "There is a clear shortage of hands, at all job levels. But young people seem to be less and less open to the industry. This is why we are working with Logos Inform who brought students to the fair to get in touch with the enormous diversity and exciting companies in this sector," Francus said.

Trade show organizer Easyfairs also sponsored several charities at Transport & Logistics 2025. Through fundraisers and exhibition sponsorship, 10,000 euros went to NGOs Mercy Ships, Go Ocean and Whale Guardians Europe. The latter two organizations were also given the opportunity to make a lot of new contacts via an exhibition stand and speaking time on the stages.

Already ample interest in 2027 edition

In September 2026, the third edition of Transport & Logistics will take place in Ghent, together with packaging fair Empack, to return to its home port of Antwerp in 2027 together with Logistic & Industrial Build and AntwerpXL. Appetite is high as 7 out of 10 available exhibition booths have already been reserved. "Transport & Logistics has clearly grown into a trade fair you can't miss. We work hard on this every day, years before the fair takes place. We are enormously grateful for the confidence of the companies that are already making reservations for the 2027 edition," Francus concludes.
