Tele Radio has been the expert in safe radio remote controls for decades. The handheld wireless systems can really be found anywhere where the risk of an injury in work activities needs to be reduced. One can think of lifting, hoisting, tilting, steering, loading, moving, or, for example, pressing and demolition. During MATEXPO Tele Radio demonstrates how valuable they are to the construction and infrastructure works industry as they unquestionably contribute to a more efficient and safer workplace. Prime feature during MATEXPO are three new hip transmitters added to the range. The new hip transmitters will be available to users from the end of September.
Thanks to Tele Radio's radio control systems, a user does not have to walk back and forth and can choose the best viewing location for work. The remote control will alert if the user is too far or too close to the object. So there is much more freedom than with a fixed or wired control unit, with the latter option also having the risk of tripping over the cables. All Tele Radio systems are designed for the toughest industrial use and can be used on almost any device. They are robust, have at least an IP65 degree of protection, have an extremely stable signal and are highly tunable to the user's needs. Unique to many Tele Radio transmitters is the safety certification issued by an independent testing body.
Scoop: 2.4 GHz hip transmitters with PLd security level
Tele Radio's current range consists of industrial handheld transmitters with tactile pushbuttons and several hip transmitters including ones for hydraulic applications under the name Puma. Added to this range are now three new hip transmitters based on the popular and attractively priced PN-T19 with independent PLd/CAT3 certification. This level of safety also applies to the new transmitters.
The hip transmitters communicate on the worldwide, freely available 2.4 GHz frequency and benefit from a long range. They also offer many connection options and accessories. Wired receivers or versions with a Harting 24-pin connector, with digital inputs and outputs, CAN/RS485 bus communication and as PLd versions with a minimum of 4 to as many as 24 relays are available.
Hip transmitters are popular to use in many applications because the user has his hands free for other (control) activities in between. In this way, the wireless remote control can be used immediately when needed.
With the 3 new hip transmitters, Tele Radio continues the success of "safety at an attractive price" (as with the PN-T19-2 "PLd").
The new hip transmitters will be available in three variants; standard transmitter (24 cm), custom transmitter (24 cm) and custom transmitter (33 cm).
The standard transmitter features 2 joysticks and 2 switches and is ideally suited for lifting and hoisting.
In addition, users can choose to have a hip transmitter custom-made in either a 24-centimeter wide or a 33-centimeter wide housing. Users can choose their own buttons, faceplate and programming. This flexibility makes the customized hip transmitter widely applicable to different user groups.
All three transmitters also feature a very robust housing, equipped with a display and an IP67 protection rating.
The three new hip transmitters are expected to be available to customers by the end of September.
