They are growing nicely and their broad demolition program includes increasingly sophisticated products for an increasingly demanding market segment. At the Bauma equipment trade fair held recently in Munich, we spoke with Anita van de Hoven of Dehaco about their latest products.
Walking around the booth, Anita was the first to show the Hyrax vibratory hammers, which Dehaco still manufactures in-house in the Netherlands. The current series has a low weight combined with a very high impact force. Especially the medium-sized models with double eccentric (Hyrax 250 - 400) are popular because they can be used to vibrate piles and sheet piles as well as to compact soil. The direction of rotation of the hydraulic motors is easy to adjust via the Intelligent Dual Power (IDP) System. There is a choice of a basic version with mechanical or hydraulic rotation. Of course, there is also a matching sheet pile clamp.
Concrete shears and magnets
With another much sought-after Dehaco product, the concrete cutters of the CR series, Dehaco is experiencing tremendous demand from the market, prompted in part by the growth in concrete work. Consequently, the concrete cutters are becoming increasingly powerful and enable shorter cycle times.
That water misters need not necessarily be large and heavy is demonstrated by the 110/230V series.
Anita points us to another interesting product: the large electromagnet with teeth. At Dehaco, the focus is clearly shifting toward recycling, as demolition companies have a growing need for tools to deliver a good reusable end product. Notable with the large magnet are the teeth on two sides. We are going to see these more and more often, according to Anita, because machine operators find it useful to be able to pull the metal goods loose with them. It makes selection easier.
Mobile water nebulizer
It was on the side of the Bauma booth, so easily visible, although many visitors will have thoughtlessly walked past it. Still, it is quite an important product from Dehaco. The Tera 60 GTM water sprayer has its own 2,200-liter water tank and a Dehaco ECO Power generator 15ME recessed into the frame. In addition, it is wheeled by the agricultural chassis, as we saw at Bauma. The water nebulizer can be used well in difficult locations without water and power connections.
Especially for the recycling industry, this large electromagnet has been given teeth to allow it to pull metal ware loose.
New generation of dust controllers
With governments imposing increasingly stringent requirements for dust control in demolition and renovation projects, Dehaco is responding with the new generation of Tera water sprayers. Because the traditional nozzles, the spray heads, clog up too quickly due to lime particles in the water, it was time for innovation. The Tera series of water nebulizers therefore uses a patented Demto-Rotor nozzle. It is designed in such a way that limescale particles do not get a grip on it, saving maintenance and time. The size of the droplets is infinitely adjustable.

Small but very handy
Finally, the 110/230V series shows that water nebulizers do not necessarily have to be big and heavy. Take the Femto with its 10-meter range. It is a water nebulizer for indoor use, when demolishing a partition wall, for example. The Tera 15 and 25 are more useful for unloading, transfer and outdoor storage. They are easy to move, use relatively little power, but still provide a considerable atomization, up to 25 meters. And very conveniently, they simply run on 110 or 230 volts.
