New compact wheel loaders and articulated loaders

The new machines are equipped with optimized features for specific applications in construction, rental, agriculture, landscaping, road work, material handling and many other industries. 

The new compact wheel loaders

Bobcat is launching two new models of compact wheel loaders: the L65 and L85. These compact wheel loaders are aimed primarily at the construction and rental markets, as well as being ideal for road work, snow removal, maintenance and many other applications.

New small articulated loaders

With the L23 and L28 models, Bobcat enters the market for small articulated loaders. With the new Bobcat machines, the traditional features of high performance in a compact size, maneuverability and versatility are complemented by a large lifting capacity for machines of light weight. The articulated loaders are comfortable, easy to drive vehicles that can also be easily transported by trailer.

Bobcat's small articulated loaders cause minimal ground disturbance through the use of a pivot joint, which allows the rear tires to follow the path of the front tires when steering. In addition, the grass-protecting mode reduces the chance of damaging the turf as the articulated loader drives and carries a load. This makes the small articulated loaders ideal for landscaping and gardening, small construction projects, agricultural and maintenance projects where space is tight.

The range of small articulated loaders

"The large lift capacity offered by Bobcat's small articulated loaders compared to their machine weight is ideal for lifting and hauling operations in compact spaces," explained John Chattaway, Loaders Product Manager at Bobcat. "The L28's extendable boom simplifies load movement and also provides enhanced all-around visibility. With options for additional counterweight, our small articulated loaders can be customized to give users the capacity they need for a variety of applications."

Bobcat will provide more detailed specifications of the new compact wheel loaders and small articulated loaders at launch, scheduled for early 2021.
