Lantech is presenting its full range of end-of-line packaging machines at Interpack.

A world leader in secondary packaging equipment, Lantech will present all three of its product groups - carton erectors, pallet wrappers and trays and lid erectors - during Interpack in Hall 13, Booth C47, from May 7 to 13 in Düsseldorf, Germany. The company will showcase advanced technologies for pallet wrappers and carton erectors and closers designed to improve efficiency, integration capabilities into smart factories and uptime, with live demonstrations of the machines throughout.

SL Automatic Pallet Wrapper

At Interpack, Lantech continues the European introduction of the revolutionary SL automatic pallet wrapping machine with automatic roll change. The SL automatic pallet wrapping machine can wrap up to 110 loads per hour more efficiently and optimally, using less film to secure the load to the pallet. The automatic roll change allows the pallet wrapping machine to automatically change the film rolls, maximizing productivity and performance.

Efficiency with rectangular boxes in a wide range of sizes

The C1000 carton erector is known for its efficiency and squarely closed cartons. Lantech's Total Control System ensures squareness of boxes, prevents jams and facilitates loading, stacking and palletizing. The box erector produces 90-degree angles regardless of corrugated board type, fluctuations in temperature or humidity and varying flat sheet sizes. The full range of formats and closure options will be on display at the booth.

Parcel Pack system with return shipping option

The Parcel Pack compact packaging solution produces letterbox-sized trays. The TE Parcel Tray Erector and the LA Parcel Lid Applicator can produce up to 1,000 perfectly square cardboard letterbox packages per hour. The LA Parcel now offers the ability to glue the lid in a different way so that it stays attached to one side, allowing return shipments to be sent in the same package. Other tray and lid options will also be on display.

Time-saving solutions for pallet wrapper

For professionally securing loads on pallets, Lantech offers an efficient packaging solution with the QL400XT semi-automatic pallet wrapper. This machine shortens any wrapping process by two minutes per cycle by automatically attaching the film to the pallet and cutting it after wrapping with the patented ‘XT Cut and Clamp’ system, which operates completely mechanically and requires no compressed air or electricity. Another feature is the intelligent ‘Load Guardian’ control system. The system creates special profiles for common loads, saving time and preventing errors. The QL400XT pallet wrapping machine can process up to 35 pallet loads per hour, with a maximum diagonal of 1830 mm and a maximum height of 2030 mm. The processed film can be pre-stretched up to 300%.

Integration capabilities within smart factories

At Interpack, Lantech will demonstrate how its machines can be seamlessly integrated into smart factories through AMR integration, automatic box erector magazine filling and LINC®, Lantech's operational intelligence platform. Equipment shown with live demonstrations includes: the SL automatic pallet wrapper with automatic roll change, the C1000 box erector, the QL400XT semi-automatic pallet wrapper, as well as the combination Parcel Pack tray and cover.
