On April 14, 15 & 16, the entire packaging chain will come together during Empack 2026 in Evenementenhal Gorinchem. During this edition Empack launches a new Intralogistics area, where innovative solutions for internal transport, storage, order picking and automated warehouses come together.

With this new area bundling exhibitors around intralogistics, Empack brings the worlds of packaging and logistics closer together. Intralogistics covers all internal processes within production, processing and distribution environments, from packaging to the moment the truck leaves the distribution center.

According to Susanne den Otter, Head of Event at Empack, the introduction of this area is a natural development: “With the launch of the Intralogistics area, we are giving an essential but often underestimated part of the packaging chain the attention it deserves. We see that visitors and exhibitors increasingly need integrated solutions. Not just for the packaging itself, but for the entire process from production to delivery. Intralogistics fits this perfectly’’.

Experts share their knowledge on stage

On Tuesday, April 14, the Pitch-Pack-Plein will focus on the latest developments in internal logistics within the packaging industry. Several speakers, including ing. Robbe Noens and Prof. Marc Juwet of L-iTL KU Leuven and René de Koster, former professor at Erasmus University, will share their knowledge.

Experts from knowledge organization Evofenedex will tell you more about how to use AI opportunities in practice, realizing a future-proof warehouse and packaging hazardous materials for safe storage and transport. In addition to internal logistics, topics such as sustainability, laws and regulations, AI and technology and practical cases from the field will be discussed in detail. Various knowledge partners will share their insights on stage for three days through presentations, panel discussions and demonstrations.
