This strategic alliance allows Engcon's products to be delivered to end users through the John Deere and Hitachi dealer network throughout North America. The partnership provides for the availability of John Deere and Hitachi excavators on which Engcon's productivity-enhancing products are already mounted.
Engcon's mission is to reform the excavation industry. An Engcon turns the traditional excavator into a multi-purpose tool carrier that can be used for many more purposes. The swivel tilt in combination with the automatic quick-change system allows operators to change tools without having to leave the cab, something that contributes greatly to optimized machine flexibility and efficiency. All of this ultimately leads to increased productivity and profitability for customers. John Deere's choice of Engcon as its preferred supplier gives end-users access to thesesmooth Engcon products through the John Deere and Hitachi dealer network in the U.S. and Canada.
"The tiltrotator concept started 30 years ago in Scandinavia and is based on the idea that it should be possible to make excavators dig in a better way and also use them more widely. At Engcon, we are excited to now accelerate this journey together with John Deere. We believe both parties will benefit from the availability of Engcon's proven solutions on John Deere and Hitachi excavators. But the real winners will surely be the machine operators and end customers who can start working in new ways and become more productive and profitable," believes Krister Blomgren, CEO of Engcon.
The new partnership allows customers to choose Engcon rotary tilt attachments and the EC-Oil automatic quick-change system through authorized John Deere and Hitachi dealers in the U.S. and Canada, which allows the operator to attach hydraulic attachments from the cab.
"At John Deere, we have always focused on providing products and technology that enable our customers to optimize efficiency and uptime in the workplace. This agreement with Engcon gives customers even more opportunities to benefit from improved on-the-job performance and ultimately improved profitability" said David Thorne, Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing, John Deere Construction & Forestry.
The agreement will allow customers easier and faster access to Engcon's products through their local John Deere and Hitachi machine dealers. This is a milestone in the global acceptance of the rotary attachment concept and will boost distribution especially in the U.S. and Canada. Engcon expects major growth on the North American continent in the coming years.
