Particulate matter is a major concern when dealing with environmental problems. There is more and more talk of controlled decomposition, and dust control is also included. Dust cannons are frequently used, but they consume a relatively large amount of water and do not always reach the right spot. The distance to the object and any weather conditions play a role in this.
Dust control can be done much more efficiently and cheaply these days. The Dynaset HPW-Dust is the perfect dust control solution. The high-performance dust suppression system produces targeted atomized water mist, which forms a cover through which dust particles cannot penetrate and prevents the spread of dust into the environment. Benoit Vercruysse, Tramac Benelux director, explains why he is so enthusiastic about it.
HPW-DUST-180 & HPW-DUST-200. Finnish manufacturer Dynaset has had products in its range for dust control for decades, even before regulations were attached to them. The technology has been further developed and adapted to current requirements so that it can be used for all kinds of dust control in various industries.
"Tramac specializes in sales, maintenance and rental of attachments for excavators from one to one hundred tons. We have a wide range of tools specifically for demolition and quarry work, such as Montabert demolition hammers. Dust control is very important to us. Not only for the workers on the construction site but also for the immediate surroundings. This is why we offer the Dynaset HPW-Dust. A powerful, pure water-based dust suppression system with ultra-fine mist for a superior effect. The separate unit can be mounted on excavators, for example. It works much more efficiently: the operator decides whether he wants water or not, which reduces water consumption. And by atomizing at the source, weather conditions such as wind have no impact on the application. By atomizing, the dust molecules are surrounded by water spray and the dust settles. With coarser water, you don't achieve that."
By spraying directly at the source, you save water and the dust settles immediately. An additional advantage is that the HPW makes considerably less noise than a conventional dust cannon.
"Tramac stands for quality and service. The interesting brands we offer and our good team allow that. We consciously choose not to sell carriers, only accessories. On the other hand, we do concentrate entirely on optimizing the machines. People do not always realize that it is the tool that does the work. By listening carefully and asking further questions, we recommend the appropriate tool for the customer. Thus, we focus on the type of work to be performed, taking into account the current and future machinery." Vercruysse concludes, "We may not be the cheapest, but we are the best in the tools we offer and the technical advice that goes with them."
