Drive solutions for intralogistics - NORD DRIVESYSTEMS at LogiMAT

At the international trade fair for intralogistics solutions and process management, the drive specialist presents its reliable and energy-efficient drives for industry.

In intralogistics, packages of different weights must be transported continuously, often over relatively long distances. This places special demands on the performance, reliability and energy efficiency of the drive technology used. NORD DRIVESYSTEMS designed suitable drive solutions for this purpose and will present them at LogiMAT in Stuttgart from March 19-21, 2024.

Especially for intralogistics, NORD DRIVESYSTEMS developed the DuoDrive gearbox/motor combination. A highly efficient IE5+ synchronous motor from NORD is integrated into a helical gear unit, achieving extremely high efficiency. DuoDrive achieves constant torque over a wide speed range, allowing a significant reduction in the number of drive variants in a system. This results in minimized administrative costs and streamlined service processes.

Compact, low-maintenance, pluggable

In addition, the decentralized NORDAC ON frequency inverters are optimized for the requirements of horizontal conveyor technology. With their compact design, easy maintenance and plug-in capabilities, they are especially suitable for large intralogistics systems with several drive units. In the NORDAC ON+ version, they are specially designed for combination with the IE5+ motor.

NORD supports its customers not only with suitable and economical drive components, but also with competent services. For example, the NORD ECO service helps to find the most efficient drive solution for a specific application. Here, the energy consumption of a system is checked using a measuring device. Evaluation of the data reveals areas in which the system is operating inefficiently, after which NORD recommends the selection of efficiency-optimized drive solutions.

At the LogiMAT, NORD is also presenting its sustainability program. The drive specialist undertakes to act in an ecologically, economically and socially responsible manner - thus providing security for customers who also adhere to the Supply Chain Act.
