Consafe Logistics offers powerful WMS & WCS solution for smart warehouse management

On April 25, 2024, more than 40 participants signed up present at Consafe Logistics' networking event "Discover the future in warehousing. This leading WMS market player rolled out the red carpet for customers, prospects and experts to brainstorm together on striking trends that are helping shape the logistics sector. "As an international supplier of innovative warehouse management software, we want to prepare our customers for future-proof warehouse management," said Guido Vangenechten, brand new Country Manager Belgium. 

The venue for this customer event was Saint-Gobain Gyproc's Training Center in the Port of Antwerp. "This world player in the field of gypsum products and systems has been using our WMS solutions for many years," Guido explains. "The company is investing heavily in software solutions to accelerate digitization, automation and sustainability at their sites. With Astro WMS^® - the flagship of our software offering - we give them the tools they need to gain a clear view of all aspects of the supply chain and align logistics automation projects."

Focus on growth sectors

Saint-Gobain Gyproc is just one of dozens of customers who happily rely on Consafe Logistics' WMS software and accompanying expertise. "For more than 25 years we have focused on four sectors: food & beverage, manufacturing, retail and wholesale," Guido outlines. 

"In addition, we are expanding our field of action to include transportation and logistics companies, so that we can help put our shoulders to the wheel on challenging projects in this sector as well. Think, for example, of optimizing picking routes in warehouses, allowing employees to navigate through warehouse racks as efficiently as possible. Smart management of stock allocation and filling levels of shipping boxes is also perfectly possible with our WMS software. How do you avoid transporting too much air? And how do you stock goods in your warehouse in such a way that frequently requested items - and their accessories - are most easily accessible? These are questions we provide answers to."

With the arrival of Guido Vangenechten as Country Manager Belgium, Consafe Logistics - originally a Swedish company - aims to fully play up our country as the next destination for business growth. "We already manage warehouses in Belgium from our Swedish and Dutch offices," he said.

Interactive networking event

Back to the networking event that Consafe Logistics organized at the end of April. "It was a fascinating and interactive event with plenty of inspiring insights and tips on new warehousing trends," Guido looks back. "We gave four loyal partners and our customer Saint-Gobain a platform to zoom in on a specific trend. Together with the participants present, we exchanged views on the strengths of autonomous robots in warehousing, the advance of AI-driven warehouse management, the importance of ergonomic working and the advantages of our Astro WMS^®-package on the way to an efficient logistics chain. I am already looking forward to the next event to once again exchange instructive experiences together with our network!"
