MERCEDES AROCS DEMO WITH 15M3 MIXER

As an alternative to existing truck mixers, Veldhuizen has built a light and maneuverable concrete mixer.

A standard factory-deliverable 5-axle trailer was chosen as the basis.

This Mercedes 5-axle has a 13-liter 330 KW engine with 2,200 NM of torque, a Servo-Twin steering system and an extended day cab for optimal comfort.

For ideal maneuverability, the tandem chassis has been moved 40 cm further forward.

This also allows the axle load of the 5^e axle be increased to 10 tons, thus realizing the ideal total weight of 49 tons.

Due to the short construction and optimal chassis reinforcement, an unladen weight can be achieved from 17 tons, providing a payload of 32 tons.
