Sanders Parts, a specialist in technical parts for trucks, is taking a major step in modernizing its logistics processes. Under the guidance of logistics consultancy ASD Coddens, the company began the rollout of an advanced Warehouse Management System (WMS). This implementation follows earlier optimizations such as the redesign of the existing warehouse and the successful introduction of five Vertical Lift Modules (VLMs).
The choice of a WMS fits seamlessly with Sanders Parts' strategic objective of being ready for the future of logistics - also known as Logistics 4.0. This means: maximum efficiency, optimized inventory management and increased delivery reliability, supported by smart technologies and real-time data.
ASD Coddens guided the process from analysis to solution. Based on a thorough evaluation of the logistics processes, a future-oriented concept was developed, which is now being rolled out step by step.
"We are proud of this partnership with Sanders Parts," says Stijn Coddens, director of ASD Coddens. "The combination of physical warehouse optimization with digital control through the WMS provides a solid foundation to continue to grow and respond to customer expectations at Sanders Parts."
