Daimler Truck BeLux moves to new offices in the Passport Building at Brussels Airport and also relocates its training facilities

Daimler Truck BeLux officially moved into its new offices in the Passport Building at Brussels Airport this month. The move marks an important milestone in the company's evolution since the separation of Daimler Truck from Mercedes-Benz Group in 2021. At the same time, the company announced the temporary relocation of its training center to the TruckStore site in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw.

The move to the Passport Building is not just a change of location, but a redefinition of the corporate culture and a reflection of the ambitions of Daimler Truck BeLux. In collaboration with interior designers Froyen-Zeitler, an office was designed that combines inspiration, comfort and attention to detail. The new workspace represents a fundamental shift in the way we work. Social zones for relaxation and informal meetings flow seamlessly into the open office area, which is furnished with landscape desks and offers breathtaking views of the tarmac. For employees who need focus, the quiet work zone provides a quiet environment for concentrated tasks. There are also five meeting rooms of varying capacities, equipped with advanced technology to enable seamless collaboration. Flexibility is central to the new office: there are no fixed workstations and teleworking has been expanded. The result is an inspiring environment that encourages collaboration, innovation and well-being.

At the same time, training activities are temporarily housed in a container structure at the TruckStore site in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw. This temporary solution, operational since early January, not only provides a practical workspace, but also ensures optimal integration of the training activities with the operational activities on the site. The location allows for synergies and strengthens the link between different business activities. Meanwhile, a more sustainable and definitive solution for the training center on the same site is being worked on.

"With the move to the Passport Building and the temporary location of our training center today, we are taking two important steps towards the future," said Peter Brock, CEO of Daimler Truck BeLux. "Our new office reflects our vision of sustainability and innovation, while the temporary training facilities in Sint-Pieters-Leeuw allow us to continue to provide optimal support to our customers and employees. We look forward to an integrated solution for our training center in the long term."

The Passport Building, a state-of-the-art and sustainable office building, fits seamlessly with the strategic objectives of Daimler Truck BeLux. The building uses innovative technologies such as solar panels, geothermal heating and smart climate control systems, significantly reducing its carbon footprint. Moreover, the location was strategically chosen, close to the previous offices in Woluwe, to minimize the impact on employee commuting.
