Training provides tips and tricks for effective safety culture

The importance of safety training for professionals can hardly be overstated. They are a sustainable investment in an effective safety culture, fewer workplace accidents and a professional image. Bjorn Hassert started in 2022 as general manager ad interim at NOA Trainings, a provider of quality safety training for professionals. One of NOA Trainings' strengths is its regional approach. "Most of our customers are based in Antwerp and the Kempen region," Bjorn points out. "But at the same time, they are active all over the world, and in various sectors, from road transport to manufacturing industry. As an officially recognized training partner - among others with the Flemish Department of Mobility and Public Works - and as a member of FEDOC95, we offer companies a broad calendar, from how to hoist loads to how to work with a forklift or aerial work platform, and from safe handling of machinery on the construction site to general courses on workplace safety."

Also strong in soft-skill training

In addition, NOA Trainings is also strong in organizing soft-skill training. Bjorn explains: "Working safely and healthily requires the involvement of everyone within the organization. With our NOA Academy, we help executives and managers with advice, coaching and training to ensure an effective safety culture within the organization. Launching Summer School

"This year, by the way, we also launched our Summer School, inviting lecturers and participants to summer sessions during the vacation period. After all, for many professionals, the summer months prove to be an ideal opportunity to brush up on their professional knowledge. The launch was a hit!" ■
