Until 2019, Infrasigna was a brand name of Lerou hardware in Bruges. In 2019, Thierry Declercq took over the trade fund and created a company with the same brand name and logo. "Infrasigna was known for its signage and decoration of public spaces. Soon I wanted to make industrial collision protection my core business because it allowed me to come out with my own angle." 

Specific collision protection for refrigeration industry

In addition to steel, Thierry now opts for plastic. "The advantages are numerous: longer lifespan, impact capture through flexibility, lighter and therefore easier to install." 

"In addition, plastic is a lot safer because steel can fold and thus lose its impact function. Furthermore, the plastic we use is antibacterial so it can also be used in the food sector. And on top of that, it is also fireproof. By the way, we now also have a line specifically for the refrigeration industry. Flexibility is then maintained even at low temperatures."

At the customer's request, Infrasigna provides not only delivery but also installation of its products. And even though the company has a warehouse with ample stock, they also like to sink their teeth into project-based customization, Thierry remembers.

Yard signage

Infrasigna sets itself apart from its competitors with its range of plastic security for pallet racks. "For every type and brand we can offer a very qualitative solution from our manufacturer MPM.
The plastic protection is mounted on the rack. It absorbs the impact of a forklift, for example." 

Furthermore, the Ruiselede-based company can also provide traffic signalization on and around the premises, and offers solutions for facilitating outdoor spaces such as bicycle racks, picnic sets and trash bins. "And finally, as a secondary activity, we also supply, among other things, yard signage, drang and yard fences and yard lighting to contractors," concludes Thierry. ■
