Demand for sustainable solutions increases

Aanrijdbeveiliging Nederland offers a total solution to reduce the risk of accidents, damage and injury. From crash barriers to mirrors and from traffic signs to impact and wall protection. Although the company has already built up an impressive customer portfolio, it still has plenty of ambitions: "We see that the sustainability aspect is playing an increasingly important role. Our current range of collision protection is already available entirely in plastic, but we want to expand the range with plastic products even further. In addition, as soon as safety in and around business premises is concerned, we aim for our online platform to become the point of contact within the Benelux," says Managing Director Jan Hammer enthusiastically.

Hammer continues: "This means that in addition to products, we also want to provide a lot of knowledge. Our goal is that anyone who runs into something in the area of safety knows that they should come to us."

Total Solution

Aanrijdbeveiliging Nederland has achieved a great deal in the ten years of its existence: "The need for more safety on the shop floor is increasing. We are often invited in response to a visit from the occupational health and safety service or when an incident has recently occurred, but also because employees have raised the issue that they would like to work more safely. Based on our insights, we provide tailor-made safety advice, including traffic plans if desired. With our total range of products, we respond to the things we notice during company visits. We visit companies from various industries and then you run into different challenges. Especially since the safety solutions are not at the expense of the efficiency of the business process."

Custom

"By the way, we never sell no, but do everything we can to reach a solution. This is partly possible because of our own business office with technical draftsmen, which gives us a lot of knowledge in-house. Add to that the craftsmanship of our mechanics and the fact that we work with our own welders, and you can have fantastic customization as a company."

In addition to the total solution, Hammer finds that their customers greatly appreciate being able to move quickly: "Because we stock and have our own assembly people, we can move quickly to implement the safety solutions."

Plastic crash protection

The demand for sustainable solutions is increasing. Aanrijdbeveiliging Nederland is responding to this by offering its crash protection products not only in steel, but also in plastic. "After all, this has a longer lifespan, which is why we also supply things like crash barriers, ramps and scaffolding protectors in plastic. All our plastic products, by the way, are tested according to European standards. That makes us a reliable solution, because we can prove that the products are specifically suited to the situation for which they are intended. So on typical incidents such as those that can occur in a warehouse. For example, a collision between a forklift and a pedestrian."

Customers

The Royal BAM Group, for example, chose the plastic column protectors from Aanrijdbeveiliging Nederland, while metal construction company DJK Structure had plastic protective posts and pedestrian barriers installed. "Logistics service provider Verhoek Europe engaged us to make their new premises safer for their employees and visitors by means of line markings and traffic signs. In order not to shut down work processes, we carried this out on a Saturday at their request. I also remember with pleasure our project at Foresco Pallets & Packaging. They wanted to increase the road safety of their intensive forklift and truck traffic. That is why we installed a clear separation between the walkways and driving lanes at their site," Hammer concludes.
