VIL and Antwerp Management School (AMS) are the first to combine their expertise to better equip employees of companies with supply chain operations to meet the challenges of tomorrow. With a unique combination of academic and practical knowledge, they are organizing an exclusive Summer School and Masterclass. This initiative starts in summer 2025 and will be extended upon positive evaluation.
The collaboration between VIL and AMS brings together the best of both worlds: the strategic vision and academic expertise of AMS as a leading business school, and the hands-on business knowledge of VIL, the spearhead logistics cluster with a proven track record of innovative business projects.
"Training is an investment that pays off. Especially in the chaotic world we live in today, we must commit to strategically strengthening and making supply chains more resilient. The VIL-AMS combo arms companies for the future.", says Liesbeth Geysels, General Manager of VIL.
The logistics sector is under pressure. Digitalization, personnel shortages, sustainability requirements and geopolitical uncertainties create complex challenges. Those who want to remain competitive must keep developing continuously.
Prof. Dr. Roel Gevaers, Academic Director of the Master Class and professor at AMS, explains: "This partnership allows us to offer training that not only addresses today's trends, but also the future of supply chain. We target leaders and professionals who want to learn strategically as well as be action-oriented."
Within this collaboration, VIL and AMS are launching two courses in 2025:
On the one hand, the Summer School Strategic Supply Chains - Powered by AMS, which will take place August 27-28-29, 2025 at LogiVille. This three-day course in Dutch targets Flemish companies and professionals.
On the other hand, the Master Class Supply Chain & Logistics - Powered by VIL being organized on Nov. 12-13-14 at AMS. This three-day course is an English-language course targeting both local and international participants.
