TVH invests again in Waregem with new distribution center

TVH invests again in Waregem with new distribution center

TVH, the specialist in parts for forklifts, industrial vehicles, construction and agricultural machinery, continues to grow and is investing in a new distribution center for its logistics department. The West Flanders multinational will expand by 50 000 m², making the distribution center, with its 30-meter height, TVH's largest. The goal is to bring it into use as of 2026. This expansion once again confirms its anchoring in Waregem.

The strategic expansion comes primarily to accommodate the growing volume of orders and deliveries. For example, the number of parcels shipped daily tripled from 8,000 in 2016 to 27,000 by 2023.

CEO Dominiek Valcke emphasizes the importance of this step: "With this increase in logistics capacity, we want to respond to the current needs on the one hand and further prepare ourselves for the growing demand on the other. We are currently succeeding very well in shipping parts to 180 countries from Flanders. Expanding locally to further scale up those processes was therefore a logical move."

TVH aims to occupy the new building starting in 2026. It can also be expanded later with additional automation. A bridge over the road will connect TVH's two largest logistics distribution centers in Waregem.

Importance of sustainability

Like the main building "The Hub," Plant T will be built with sustainable techniques. With this project too, TVH aims to be among the best in Europe in terms of sustainability standards.
