Sokkia launches new software and accessories to work better and faster

Sokkia announces new software solution for (robotic) total stations and GNSS rover systems: GeoPro Field 2.0. The software is designed to be user-friendly. Easy to use to work quickly. Also, the new accessories for the SHC5000-fieldbook help with this. A QWERTY keyboard and stylus pen are specially designed to provide alternatives and improve performance in challenging weather conditions.

New in GeoPro Field 2.0

• Options for field-to-finish automation. Users easily benefit from new fast field coding for field-to-finish efficiency and advanced plotting functionality.
• Visual background mapping capabilities supported by Bing Maps® and WMS (web map service). Real-time imaging behind points, lines and imported design files through Bing Maps and WMS web integration makes the software work faster and more efficiently.
• Enhanced support for a wide range of file types, including import from Autodesk Point Layout.

New accessories for SHC5000 field book

• Landscape QWERTY keyboard with raised keys. Users can quickly and easily attach the keyboard to the SHC5000 with a clip and holder. When touchscreen operation is hampered by adverse weather conditions, the keyboard provides an excellent alternative. It can also be useful when users need to enter detailed alphanumeric descriptions or navigate through menus without using the touchscreen.
• Electrically grounded stylus pen. Specially designed to improve touchscreen performance in snow, rain and in wet or cold conditions.

The accessories can be linked together or used separately to complement the SHC5000.
