Reverse IT helps DynaGroup optimize device management: onboarding time drops from 50 to 17 minutes

Reverse IT, a specialist in Mobile Device Management, has radically revamped the device management of DynaGroup, a specialist in customer-oriented logistics services. Thanks to the partnership with Reverse IT, the deployment of mobile devices at DynaGroup is now much faster: from an average of 50 minutes to just 17 minutes per device. The number of management actions has also been greatly reduced: from 50 to 11 per device. This allows DynaGroup to keep more control over its mobile environment, allowing IT teams to focus more on strategic management and improvements instead of routine work.

More grip and overview

For years, hundreds of DynaGroup employees have used mobile devices daily; from supporting logistics processes to payments at the door. The previous MDM system was adequate for basic management, but the growing organization required additional flexibility, expanded remote management capabilities and improved support for software processes. With the new platform, DynaGroup now has even greater visibility and efficiency, allowing IT teams to focus their attention on strategic tasks.

Reverse IT supported DynaGroup in developing a transition plan based on proven MDM solutions. The approach was pragmatic and people-oriented: through a proof of concept, process-oriented consultancy and low-threshold support, DynaGroup was able to execute much itself, with Reverse IT as a reliable sparring partner. Instant results

The new system provides real-time insight into the status of all PDAs, allows remote blocking or erasing of devices in case of loss or theft, and handles license management fully automatically: expired or invalid licenses are recognized and dealt with. The central dashboard provides DynaGroup with detailed reports, making it easier to adjust processes and identify bottlenecks.
