"We see ourselves as a geotechnical investigation firm with probing and drilling as specialties," says Frank van Heerebeek, Head of Field Operations/Project Manager at engineering firm Inpijn-Blokpoel. As one of the larger engineering firms in the Netherlands, the company conducts daily geotechnical investigations throughout the Netherlands and abroad. "Land surveying is part of the investigations we do. A very important part even, although it always has to be done quickly and accurately."
On the 8-inch tablet, supplied with the GPS measuring stick, area drawings are easy to read and the positions of the measuring points can be clearly seen on the screen.
Surveyour's GPS measuring stick is a very attractive device financially without compromising on quality and accuracy. "Quality is of paramount importance to us: we always want to stand behind our measurements for the full 100%," he says. Van Heerebeek supervises his people working with the GPS measuring stick and has had fine experiences with the system himself. "Our guys in the field want to do their work quickly and easily. Unpack, set system in motion, get going and move on. Everything should always work. And if there is something? Then Surveyour is always there to help. All units can be taken over by Surveyour from their workplace. This allows them to directly watch or perform actions if desired. That works fast, pleasant and prevents downtime. This is where Surveyour really excels. Moreover, our people are getting to know the system better by doing. Also, Surveyour can switch quickly if something needs to be replaced, which we find important with a supplier."

"On the 8-inch tablet included with the GPS measuring stick, area drawings are easy to read. We can put more info on the drawings and have a clear view of the positions of the measuring points. This allows us to work safely and prevent any damage to cables and pipes. The measurement data obtained is easy to import from the tablet into our data system. This is not always the case. The software is very user-friendly and much more open."
Van Heerebeek concludes, "Surveyour, Alex Groenendaal's club, is a small but fine club that values service and personal contact. We have enormous faith in the company's knowledge and expertise. The special thing is that Surveyour not only carries the knowledge but also transfers it in a way that is accessible to everyone."
