In this project, Van Schaik takes care of the laying of a 3500m infiltration transport sewer (IT sewer). In addition to laying the pipe, they are also taking care of breaking up the street, excavating the trench, digital measuring and backfilling and compacting with sand so that the new street can be laid directly on top.
An important aspect here is maintaining the livability of the residential area of Zwanenburg. The streets there are tight and work is done using the CAT329 with 12m boom and a tractor with a 25m3 dumper - these are quite large machines.
Safety and accessibility for residents are paramount for Van Schaik, whereby they will ensure that residents are inconvenienced as little as possible by the work.
Another important (pre)value in implementing the project is sustainability. Van Schaik's machines run on 100% Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO100); an alternative fossil-free fuel for diesel engines extracted mainly from plant residues, waste and residual raw materials and other organic material. In the process, a CO2 reduction of 89% is achieved.
Besides this high-quality equipment, Van Schaik also has a team of skilled employees who contribute to the success of this Zwanenburg project (among others). By deploying the right man in the right place, the project can be delivered well within the set deadline. Keep going with Van Schaik Grondverzet!
