Precast industrial construction specialist looks to the future

The past few years have not been the easiest for construction companies. Contractor company Beeuwsaert Construct from Ledegem noticed this as well. Like many of its competitors, it had to deal with the crisis, material shortages and rising construction prices. However, the specialist in prefab construction for industry, agriculture, retail and offices was not deterred. On the contrary. "Above all, it motivated us to do even better," echoes the four partners.

Four associates? Yes, you read correctly. Jeroen and Didier Beeuwsaert, who have formed a fluky tandem for 20 years, have been assisted since the beginning of 2022 by Thomas Delbaere and Maxime Vandekerckhove. A duo of young force that is giving the company a new zest, Jeroen Beeuwsaert believes. "We felt the time was right to broaden our base and increase our sounding board," he says. "Thomas and Maxime have each brought their own backpack of experience and that makes for an interesting interaction."

A fresh look

Therefore, the renewal does not mean a radical change in direction, Jeroen further emphasizes. "We are a non-family company with family DNA. We want to keep that core. Maxime and Thomas both already worked at Beeuwsaert Construct and are just as imbued with our values as we are. With them, we can guarantee continuity, also for our employees. With, say, a new director coming from outside the company, it would have been different."

However, the focus on continuity does not mean that no new wind should blow. "With their fresh perspective, Thomas and Maxime prevent us from getting bogged down," Jeroen said. "After all, as an entrepreneur you have to dare to look at both yourself and your company with a critical eye."

Enthusiastic commitment

Despite a difficult time, Beeuwsaert Construct faces the future with confidence. Says Jeroen, "Our focus remains sharp and to respond to the needs of the moment, we are putting even more effort into our strengths such as flexibility and agility."

Furthermore, at Beeuwsaert Construct, they want to do above all what they have always done: deliver the best possible work, in any circumstances. "We owe our success to the way we grasp files and deliver projects within the predetermined timing and budgets," they sound. "Every employee at Beeuwsaert shares that enthusiastic commitment." 

'olsan deure do'

It is no coincidence that Beeuwsaert Construct's company motto is 'olsan deure doen', West Flemish for 'always moving forward'. "It is simply not by looking back that you win the race," Jeroen Beeuwsaert concludes.
