Linde Material Handling (MH) recently launched the Xi forklifts, a new generation of electric models that combine power and versatility. With lifting capacities from 1 to 2 tons and an integrated lithium-ion battery, the Xi models set a new standard in performance and ergonomics. Specially designed for demanding applications, they take both efficiency and ease of use to the next level.

The electric forklifts of the Xi series are equipped with a 90-volt lithium-ion battery and synchronous reluctance motor, providing unmatched performance. These trucks reach top speeds of up to 20 km/h and lift and lower 20% faster than comparable models. An advanced cooling system maintains maximum power even under harsh conditions.

Designed with humans in mind

Linde's new trucks are more than just powerhouses; they are also designed with the operator in mind. The Xi trucks' cab offers more head and leg room, an improved heating system and optional air conditioning. Innovations such as the optional Linde Steer Control, in which a joystick replaces the traditional steering wheel, minimize the driver's physical strain. "Vacancies in the logistics sector are increasingly difficult to fill," Rochelmeyer explains. "With an ergonomic design and intuitive operation, these trucks respond perfectly to the needs of drivers."

Smart and safe

The Xi forklifts are equipped with numerous safety and digitization features. The Linde Load Assist automatically adjusts lifting and tilting functions based on the weight and height of the load, while the Reverse Assist Radar detects obstacles and stops the truck if necessary. Camera systems with AI technology distinguish people from objects and actively reduce the risk of accidents.

In addition, the connectivity of these trucks enables predictive maintenance and wireless updates. Integration into digital warehouse systems increases operational efficiency and productivity.
