Safest Driver 2021 NK kicks off

The finals of the NK Safest Driver will take place on Saturday, September 25, at the TT-Circuit in Assen. The best 25 participants will win a factory trip to Volvo in Sweden.  

Why participate.

We are looking for the safest driver in the Netherlands. The NK Safest Driver is a competition in which we are looking for the safest truck driver in the Netherlands. During the NK, Dutch truck drivers compete against each other. The NK consists of an online phase with knowledge questions and a physical event at the conclusion. After the online phase, the best 25 truck drivers qualify for the final day. At the TT Circuit in Assen on Saturday, September 25, the finalists compete for the title by completing tests. The event at the TT Circuit is organized in compliance with the corona rules in force at the time. The winner of the NK may then call himself the safest driver in our country for a year. This makes him/her the successor to Martin Kolff the winner of the NK in 2019.

Prices

The winner of the NK Safest Driver 2021 will win the TVM Award in addition to the sporting honor, of course. In addition, the entire top 25 best truck drivers will go by bus to Volvo Trucks in Gothenburg. This is scheduled, subject to the corona virus, for the last week of October 2021 or the first week of November 2021. Here they will visit the factory, the Volvo Trucks demo center and the Volvo Museum. Numbers 26 to 75 will go by bus to the largest Volvo Trucks factory in Ghent.
