There is a continuing strong demand for heavy wheel loaders in the European market. The challenges and increasing demands in the many diverse customer segments requires appropriate products. Not to mention the emissions standard, which they have to meet...
Hyundai Construction Equipment Europe (HCEE), a leading player in the European construction equipment market, is launching a new range of wheel loaders, the A Series, in response to all these challenges. For now, the HL900 wheel loaders come in three versions: the HL940A, HL995A and the HL960A. All three meet the European Stage-V emissions standard, but HCEE has decided to go much further.
With this new series, HCEE offers its broad customer base machines that maximize performance, increase productivity, have critical safety features, improve operating time management and machine uptime while remaining easy for operators to operate.

HCEE's product development department lists a range of leading-edge technological improvements, which are directly related to improved fuel efficiency, enhanced safety, longer uptime and improved fleet management. For example, the A Series features the Cummins B6.7 engine with an all-in-one exhaust aftertreatment system. The best engine currently on the market - it is not only Stage-V certified but also easy to maintain. By applying the Power Smart mode, the wheel loaders are fuel efficient. Using the IWM (Intelligent Work Mode), three engine modes can be selected depending on the application: Power, Smart Power and Economy.
In addition to this environmental development, HCEE has also ensured great operator comfort. The generous driver's cab, equipped with premium seat with four-way air suspension, has an electro-hydraulic, ergonomic joystick for convenient control of all front loader arm functions. A second joystick for operating the machine itself, is optionally available. In the context of ease of operation, but above all safety, there is an optional remote-controlled door opening system. In addition, the A Series wheel loaders are equipped as standard with a reversing camera developed by HCEE itself. Optional reverse sensors and the advanced AAVM camera system provide the operator with a 360° view of the area around the machine.
And finally, the shape of the hood has been modified that dramatically improves direct visibility to the rear of the machine when reversing. All of these safety measures make the A Series Hyundai wheel loaders one of the safest in the industry.
The HL955A and HL960A come with increased rear axle capacity for longer service life. Both machines can be ordered with an optional heavy-duty front axle for waste handling and special industrial applications. The all-in-one main control valve - a combination of the travel control valve and the EPPR valve - enables improved uptime because there are fewer hydraulic hoses - and thus a reduced risk of damage from leakage.
The HL940A and HL955A come with a new parallel Z-Bar linkage for parallel lift and excellent rear tilt forces. For enhanced versatility, Hyundai Construction Equipment also offers its wheel loader models with an extended load frame, ISO quick coupler and two special "Toolmaster" versions for customers working in agriculture, recycling, waste management, forestry or industrial applications in addition to standard wheel loader applications.
